Go Snohomish County! Eleven area football teams open the state playoffs this weekend. Tonight, Lake Stevens hosts Lake Washington at 7 p.m. and Archbishop Murphy hosts Hockinson at 6 p.m. Snohomish hosts Seattle Prep at 5 p.m., and Saturday Stanwood hosts Walla Walla at 2 p.m. Also Saturday, our cross country runners chase state titles at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. Good luck to Glacier Peak, Arlington, Meadowdale, Mountlake Terrace, Everett, Granite Falls and Darrington too. Pack the stands and cheer loud! Keith Bruce at Sound Point Real Estate knows what makes Snohomish County worth calling home. keith@soundpointre.com
