Honor Our Veterans This Veterans Day

Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, November 11, and Snohomish County is ready to say thank you. Mill Creek hosts a ceremony at 9 a.m. at the Veterans Monument in Library Park, followed by a parade at 11 a.m. through Mill Creek Town Center. In Everett, stop by Old Guard VFW Post 2100 at 2711 Oakes Ave., an All-American post that has served local veterans for decades. Can’t make an event? Fly the flag, call a veteran you know, or simply say thanks to someone in uniform. As a Navy veteran, I’m proud to call this community home. Keith Bruce at Sound Point Real Estate knows what makes Snohomish County worth calling home. keith@soundpointre.com
